Samsung wants iPhone 5 added to legal battle

The legal battle between Samsung and Apple shows no signs of slowing down. And the latest battleground - the newest Apple smartphone.

The South Korean company has filed a motion with a U.S. court to add the iPhone 5 to their ongoing patent battle. Samsung claims the new phone infringes on eight of its patents. The two companies are locked in a struggle for supremacy in the global smartphone market.

Apple won a major battle in court recently, with a California jury siding with it in its patent fight against its competitor.
