An 18-year-old Attica man has been charged with felony assault of a police officer.
Police say they were called to the home of Timothy Johnson for a domestic disturbance Tuesday night. While officers were there, they say Johnson became combative and had to be subdued.
Later, Johnson was taken to Wyoming County Community Hospital for treatment where police say he again became combative and had to be subdued. An officer injured his shoulder during the incident.
Johnson was charged with felony assault of a police officer, obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest.
Police say 23-year-old Katelyn Kubala was present during the first incident and was found in possession of a hypodermic instrument.
Both were arraigned and remanded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. They are due back in court on November 5.
