Winner in Livingston County DA republican primary could be announced Thursday

The winner of the republican Livingston County District Attorney primary could be announced Thursday.

The tie between republicans Steve Sessler and Eric Scheiner is back in the hands of the GOP Committee. It will hold a meeting today to designate its nominee.

Sessler filed a motion demanding a recount. That was turned down Wednesday by State Supreme Court Judge John Ark. He sent the decision back to the Livingston County Republican Committee.
