Trader Joe's opens its doors at Pittsford Plaza

The first Trader Joe's grocery store opened its doors Friday morning at Pittsford Plaza.

It's great news for those interested in purchasing healthier items you might not find at your typical grocery store. The chain is known for organic and gluten-free products.

If you want to check out the store, it is located next to Bed, Bath and Beyond in Pittsford Plaza on Monroe Avenue.

There was an opening ceremony at 8 a.m. on Friday. The store will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
