Some residents of Honeoye Falls are mad and sad that the GM Fuel Cell plant is leaving and going to Michigan.

News10NBC is told everyday around lunch and dinner, dozens of GM employees line the streets to get food. Residents say when the plant goes, so will all those people who spent money in the community each day.

Many of the employees also live in the village and the possibility of all those people relocating to Michigan doesn’t sit well with people.

Many residents said they knew something was happening and figured the plant would be closing soon because they saw less traffic around the plant lately.
