A local church is expanding, but its new location may be a bit of a surprise.
The Northridge Church opened it's second campus at the Regal Theater in the Greece Ridge Mall on Sunday morning.
The church will also continue to hold services in its original location, at the corner of East Ridge Road and Saint Paul in Irondequoit.
Those who attend services at the new location will get to watch the exact same service broadcast simultaneously on the big screen.
Campus Pastor Nate Miller said, "What excites us about being in a movie theater is that today the movie theater is like the post modern well. It's where people go it's where the community is and we thought what better place to go and take the message of the gospel and the hope of Jesus to other than a movie theater."
Services at the Regal Theater will be held on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m.
