nullA former RIT Professor who was elected to lead Libya, has been removed from the position.

Mustafa Abushagur returned to Libya a year ago, but spent 11 years at RIT, leading a PHD and Microsystems Program.

He was elected in the role of Prime Minister last month. He had until Sunday to form a Cabinet or would risk losing the job.

His list of ministers was said to have not been diverse enough.

Libya's parliament passed a no-confidence vote. The General National Congress voted 125 versus 44 in favor of removing him as prime minister.
