Rochester man pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder

A man charged in connection with the shooting death of a 32-year-old Rochester man was in court Monday morning.
Vinh dac Phan, 54 of Rochester, pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Police tell News10NBC the victim was shot and killed inside of a car just before 6:30 p.m. Saturday. It happened near the intersection of Alexander Street and South Avenue.
Phan is being held without bail and is due back in court on October 9 at 11 a.m.
