Man taken to hospital after being shot on Spencer St.

Police say a 52-year-old man was taken to the hospital Monday evening after being shot on the city's northwest side.

The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. on Spencer Street near Lyell Avenue.

Police say the man was shot in the lower body and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they have no suspect at this time.
