A Monroe County Grand Jury has indicted a suspended Monroe County Jail deputy on multiple charges including aggravated DWI and violating the child passenger protection act known as Leandra’s Law.

Paul Doser is charged with aggravated DWI with a child passenger, aggravated DWI, DWI, reckless driving, reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.

Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputies say the 40-year-old sergeant was drunk when he crashed and flipped his Subaru on Brick Schoolhouse Road in Hamlin in May. Investigators say Doser’s six-year-old neighbor was in the car and that’s why he’s charged with a felony, under Leandra’s law. Doser was forced to turn over his driver’s license.

He is currently on suspension from the Monroe County Jail.
