Attica man charged with stealing from convenience store

An Attica man is facing charges for stealing from a 7 Eleven convenience store.
Steven J. Snyder, 22, of Attica, is charged with petit larceny.
Police say Snyder was stopped by a store clerk at the store for not paying for items. He refused to pay and then left the store. Police located him a short time later.
Snyder is also facing charges of possession of a hypodermic instrument and criminal possession of a controlled substance after police say they found a hypodermic needle in his possession.
Snyder was arraigned in Town of Attica Court and he is to reappear at a later date.
