Eight cancer-fighting foods

Lowering the risk for cancer could be as easy as filling up your plate with the right foods.
Nutritionists have come up with a list of eight fruits and veggies that could help the body defend itself from cancer.
Garlic has sulfuric compounds that can fight off cancer-producing cells while asparagus contains folate, a vitamin B compound that could reduce the risk of colon cancer. Other cancer-fighting foods include cabbage, pistachios, wine grapes, artichokes, broccoli and tomatoes.
