Pedestrian killed after being hit by two cars

A man has died after being hit by two cars in the town of Canandaigua early Sunday morning.
The victim has been identified as Derrick D. Tubbs. Ontario County Sheriff's Deputies say it happened just before 3:30 a.m. on State Route 332.
According to investigators, they say the 34-year-old man was walking along the road when he was hit by a car that was headed south. After being hit, the victim was thrown into the middle of the lane and was then hit by another car.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say he was wearing dark clothing. Emergency crews shut down Route 332 for several hours following the incident.
Investigators are reconstructing the scene to try to determine the cause. Deputies say no charges have been filed at this time.
