A former sergeant at the Monroe County Jail, accused of raping inmates was back in court Monday.
Robert Wilson is facing 23 charges including sex abuse, patronizing a prostitute and official misconduct.
The 41 year old walked into court alone Monday morning. Wilson was a supervisor in charge at the Monroe County Correctional Facility in Brighton.
Investigators say he abused his position of authority to sexually abuse seven female inmates for more than two years. They believe Wilson had relationships with many of the women prior to them being in jail.
