Spirit Halloween stores throw party for patients at Golisano Children's Hospital

Little goblins and ghouls were walking around the Golisano Children's Hospital for this year's Halloween party.

On Tuesday, volunteers from Spirit Halloween stores threw a party for patients involving games, crafts and costumes. For many patients, it was a much needed pick-me-up.

Parent Mary Margaret Biss said, "It gives her something to look forward to during the day. It also helped encourage her today like, 'Let's get out for another walk, let's do what you need to do to go to the Halloween party'".

At the end of the Halloween season, Spirit Halloween stores will donate 10-percent of its revenue to the Golisano Children's Hospital.
