Deputies: Guns, cash, drugs found in Albion home

Two people have been arrested following a three-month investigation into the sale and distribution of marijuana and prescription pills in the Albion area.
Officials say they found one pound of high-grade marijuana with a street value of $4,800, oxycodone, hydrocodone and diazepam pills with a street value of $2,500, scales, packaging, guns and cash during a search of a home on Albion Eagle Harbor Road.
Deputies charged 49-year-old Randy Wyant Senior and 49-year-old Janis Fitzwater with multiple counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Both were arraigned in Albion and remanded to the Orleans County Jail in lieu of bail.
The investigation is ongoing and more arrests and charges are pending.
