RPD honored local children who went above and beyond

Some kids who've gone above and beyond to help others were honored Thursday morning.

A group of local children are the newest recipients of the Rochester Police Department's "Do The Right Thing" awards.

some previous winners have done noteworthy things such as organizing charity events, preventing a crime or going out of their way to help a classmate in need.
