Roberts Wesleyan College students join fight to end childhood cancer

Students at Roberts Wesleyan College joined the fight to end childhood cancer Friday.

Nora Culhane and Rya Lichtenstein spent the afternoon hosting an Alex’s Lemonade Stand as part of a service project assignment for class. They did this after they learned that one of their classmates had battled her own cancer.    

The students hoped to raise $2,500. They had already received about a $1,000 through online donations Friday morning.
