Two arrested after investigation into transportation of crack cocaine

Two people are facing charges after an investigation into the transportation of crack cocaine from Rochester to Geneva.
Geneva Police say when they stopped a vehicle on Hamilton Street Friday night, they found $2,000 worth of crack cocaine packaged for sale, marijuana and cash.
Christopher Brinson Jr., 26 of Geneva, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Brinson, who is currently on parole, is being held on $25,00 cash bail or $50,000 bond. Jessica Smith, 29 of Phelps, is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Police say additional charges against Smith are pending.
