Overnight work on I-490 eastbound in Rochester

Traffic on I-490 eastbound, between South Avenue and Goodman Street, will be reduced to a single lane Tuesday morning as part of ongoing work to replace overhead signs.

Motorists will be directed to exit the expressway at Goodman Street while crews install a highway sign on the Meigs Street bridge.

Lane closures started at 7 p.m. Monday night but will re-open by 6 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

The on-ramp at Goodman Street to the expressway will not be impacted.
