After-school activities canceled for city schools

nullThe Rochester City School District says that all after-school activities and programs at all city schools are canceled for Monday, October 29. Officials say that includes any program housed in city schools including all student athletic practices and any extra-curricular meetings or rehearsals.
 
The Rochester City School District has also provided these dismissal times:

  • Students at Dr. Luther King Jr. School 9 will be dismissed at 4 p.m.
  •  
  • Students at Northeast College Prep will be dismissed at 3 p.m.
     
  • Students attending All City High will be dismissed at 2:15 p.m.
     
  • Young Adult Evening High School is canceled

The district says that some school principals may be providing additional details for parents via robo-calls. You can also check the district's website with any additional closure information.

Officials say any parents with questions can contact their child's school for more information.
