Online registry to keep track of loved ones during Hurricane Sandy

If you have family and friends who live in areas that are directly in Hurricane Sandy's path, an online registry from the Red Cross might give you some of peace of mind.

It's called the "Safe and Well" program. After a family member or friend signs up, they can post updates on how they are doing and you can search the registry for their names and read their updates.
