Thousands without power in Monroe, Wayne, Ontario Counties

Many homes in Rochester are waking up without power Tuesday morning.

RG&E is reporting approximately 19,000 customers are without power in Monroe County. The Towns of Greece and Webster have the highest number of outages with nearly 2,846 in Greece and 6,900 customers in Webster. Chili, Irondequoit, Penfield and Rochester have more than 1,000 customers without power.

Surrounding counties are reporting fewer outages. Wayne County has more than 2,700 homes and businesses without power and Ontario has nearly 1,000.
