Many people waking up in shelters Tuesday morning

There are a number of people waking up in Red Cross shelters Monday.

There are five shelters open in Monroe County. News10NBC asked a Red Cross volunteer at the Greece Olympia shelter how many people they expect to show up Tuesday.

John Francis said, “We're prepared to handle 50 people. We don't have any real anticipation. It depends on the weather and how it develops.”'

The Red Cross shelters in our area are located at  the Dome Arena in Henrietta, the Sweden Senior Center in Brockport, the Webster Rec Center and Greece Olympia High School.
