Wind causes damage on Pollard Street

The wind has caused damage across the Rochester area including snapping a tree in half on Pollard Avenue in Rochester Monday night.

A neighbor tells News10NBC the homeowner was not home when the tree came down on her car. Sue Kroll said, “Every time we have a bad windstorm especially down here we get the wind, you can hear it creaking and tonight it got 'em. I mean the wind just took the thing down. It was weird coming down the street and all of a sudden you hear 'Boom!'"

Kroll also says they've had problems like this before and she had two trees cut down to try and prevent it from happening again.
