Tappan Zee Bridge reopens

nullThe Tappan Zee Bridge reopened at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Motorists are reminded to drive carefully and Governor Andrew Cuomo advises against any unnecessary travel which will enable crews to move quickly to the areas that need help.

In addition, MTA bridges have opened to emergency personnel (fire and police, first responders, and medical personnel which include doctors, nurses) only.

The MTA bridges include:
- Robert F. Kennedy Bridge
- Throgs Neck Bridge
- Bronx-Whitestone Bridge
- Verrazano-Narrows Bridge
- Henry Hudson Bridge
- Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge
- Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge
