nullStudents at the University of Rochester will be marching in support of service workers at noon on Friday.

The University's service workers are negotiating their wages and benefits with the University administration. According to students, workers have been met with "stiff resistance" from the school.

Five hundred people at the University-- which included staff, faculty and students-- signed a petition calling on the University to drop its hardline tactics and reach a settlement. Students will be marching from the Rush Rhee's Library to President Seligman's office to hand-deliver the petition.

Organizers are calling the march "Party at Seligman's" to stress the non-violent nature of the march.
