Salvation Army offers Christmas assistance sign-up

The Salvation Army’s annual Christmas Assistance and Toy Shop registration runs from Monday through Friday, November 16.

Those who qualify will receive toys for their kids and a food basket with the ingredients necessary to prepare a holiday meal.

Monroe County residents can sign up at the Northwest Community Service Center located on West Avenue in Rochester. Sign-up hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Those who qualify must provide proof of income, expenses and proof of who are the members of the household.
