Battle of the Bulge
Veterans from the Battle of the Bulge gathered inside the Port of Rochester Monday morning.
The battle turned back a major German offensive and helped to end the war. 19,000 Americans were killed in that battle which lasted from December 16, 1944 to January 25, 1945.
The local chapter had to deactivate several years ago, because many of the members had passed away.
