Darien woman charged with identity theft

A Darien woman was arrested for using a relative's information to make purchases at a Walmart store in Batavia.

Crystal L. Kiebzak, of Darien, is charged with identify theft, criminal possession of stolen property and unlawful possession of personal identification information.

Police say kiebzak used information which belonged to a relative to obtain most $3,000 in merchandise at the Batavia Walmart Supercenter store.

Kiebzak was released on her own recognizance and will reappear at a later date to further answer the charges.
