The Pittsford Village Board of Trustees voted to approve to move forward with the construction of an apartment complex in Pittsford.

By a 3-2 vote, the proposed 165-unit apartment complex at 75 Monroe Avenue was approved. The project still has to go through a public planning board meeting and vote. The project still has to go through a preservation board vote as well.

Village of Pittsford Mayor Robert Corby said this has been an agonizing process.
