Man charged with Leandra's Law, having BAC 3x the legal limit

An Ontario County man is charged with DWI under Leandra's Law.
58-year-old James Rodney is from Clifton Springs. Police say he drove with a BAC more than three times the legal limit, with two children in the car.
State Police say they stopped Rodney for unsafe lane change on County Route 13 in Manchester. According to police, there was a strong odor of alcohol coming from Rodney and there were two children in the backseat of the car.
A breath sample showed that Rodney had a BAC of .26%, more than three times the legal limit.
Rodney was charged with a number of traffic complaints, including aggravated DWI under Leandra's Law.
The children were released to their mother.
