Update: Owner of dog found in restroom at Petco in Pittsford located

The Humane Society at Lollypop Farm says they have located one owner of the Pierre, the dog found in the garbage inside a restroom at the Petco in Pittsford.

News10NBC has learned that Pierre has been officially given over to the Humane Society.

Investigators are now reviewing surveillance video to try to determine who abandoned the dog. Animal cruelty and neglect charges may be pending.
