Study: Aspirin use may decrease risk of liver problems

Regular aspirin use may help decrease the risk of serious liver problems.
 
A new large study found aspirin users were 41-percent less likely to be diagnosed with liver cancer and 45-percent less likely to die from chronic liver disease than non-aspirin users.
 
People who took other over the counter pain relievers were 26-percent less likely to die from liver disease -- but their liver cancer risk was not decreased.
 
Researchers hope these findings could to lead to new ways to help prevent liver disease.
