Police: Man hit pizza shop employee in the head with a gun

Police in Brighton are looking for a man who they say threatened an employee with a gun at a pizza shop in Brighton. It happened around 10 p.m. Sunday.

Brighton Police tell News10NBC a man walked into the Pontillo's Pizza on Mount Hope, hit an employee in the head with a gun and demanded money from the register. The man then forced the employee into a cooler and left the store. Police say the suspect got into the passenger side of a small gray car and sped away.

The investigation is ongoing.
