Doctors say not all aspirin can reduce your risk for heart disease.
Researchers say the coating on some pills is supposed to protect your stomach but it might also interfere with the way aspirin enters the body. This could debunk a belief that two out of five people are aspirin resistant and need stronger prescription drugs to manage heart health.
A new study looked at 400 healthy people and did not find a single aspirin resistant participant. Instead, researchers found that it was the aspirin coating that reduced its effects.
