News10NBC has learned that the Town of Irondequoit will move forward with a plan to combine their two library branches.
The plan is to build a new facility on the Irondequoit Town Hall campus.
Currently, there are two branches -- one on East Ridge Road and the other on Cooper Road.
The new library will be a 60,000-square foot building. No word yet on when the project will start.
