Kodak meets with retirees

Kodak met with retirees Tuesday to review its new plan to terminate benefits for some of those former workers.     

Kodak reached a deal with the retirees committee earlier this year to provide $7.5-million to support initial administration costs and another $635-million in unsecured money to help subsidize costs.

Kodak executives met with the former workers to explain the process and some retirees we spoke with say they're still looking for answers.

Retiree Paula Crawford said, “It's just disappointments you know, a lot of things that were promised is not going to happen and what do you do a lot of disappointed people questions are not really being answered like they should be.”

Kodak says the benefits will be terminated at the end of the year.

The company says this move is part of its plan to emerge from bankruptcy next year.
