Calling hours for PFC Grant Wise of Fairport

Calling hours are scheduled Tuesday for a Fairport soldier killed in Alaska.

The body of Army Private First Class Grant Wise returned home to the Rochester airport Monday.

Officials say wise was found dead of a gunshot wound on a base in Anchorage, Alaska Christmas morning.

Calling hours for Wise are 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Keenan’s Funeral Home in Fairport.

The memorial service is Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at the Perinton Presbyterian Church.
