First babies of 2013 born at Strong Memorial Hospital

A baby girl, born at 12:50 a.m., was the first baby of 2013.

Layah Niree Bell was born at Strong Memorial Hospital to parents Lauren Watkins and Rossi Bell of Greece. Baby Layah weighed seven pounds, two ounces.

This year, Strong had the first two babies – Nolan Christian Cavo was born just after 1 a.m. to Claire and Jason Cavo of Perinton. Nolan weighed nine pounds, one ounce.

Hospital officials tell News10NBC both babies were due on January 6.
