Deputies: Manchester woman shoved, kicked sheriff's deputy

A 25-year-old Manchester woman is facing charges after sheriff’s deputies say she shoved and kicked a deputy.

Shareen Vaughn Gfeller is charged with resisting arrest.

Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies say they went to Gfeller’s home to take her into custody on an outstanding arrest warrant. Once inside the home, deputies say Gfeller was found hiding in a bedroom closet and tried to prevent her arrest by shoving, kicking and pulling away from the deputy attempting to take her into custody.

Gfeller was arraigned and remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond.
