Woman dies in fire at her Schuyler County home

Authorities say a woman has been killed in a fire at her home.
    
Fire officials tell local media outlets that the blaze was reported around 2 a.m. Wednesday at a house in the Schuyler County, Town of Tyrone.
    
Officials say the two-story farm house was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. A man in his 70s had already escaped the fire, but a woman in her mid-60s didn't make it out and died in the blaze.
    
Officials haven't released her name.
    
Firefighters fought the flames with water hauled to the scene in tankers because there was no water source nearby.
    
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
