Two people charged with burglary at Erie Canal Motel

Two people are facing charges after an incident at the Erie Canal Motel on Route 31 in Lyons.

State Police say 25-year-old Christopher Freeman of Lyons and 20-year-old Hailey Goodell unlawfully entered the motel and damaged property inside. Both are charged with third-degree burglary.

Freeman was held on $10,000.00 bail and Goodell was released on her own recognizance. Both are due back in court on January 8.
