Police: Rochester man charged after he crashed into house in Batavia

Corey Goff has been charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to take a breath test, reckless driving, unreasonable speed, and failure to keep right.
Officers say he was driving his vehicle on Pearl Street in Batavia at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle at a roundbout. His car left the road and hit a road sign and light post before smashing into front of a residence on Main Street.
Police say nobody was home at the time of the crash. The house did sustain damaged during the crash, but has been deemed structurally sound.
Police say Goff was arrested and released on an appearance ticket.
