The Burger King in Webster will be hosting a benefit bash for the families of two West Webster firefighters who were shot and killed in an ambush attack on Christmas Eve.
On January 11th & 12th, 20% of the restaurant's sales from supporters will be donated to the Lt. Mike Chiapperini and Tomasz Kaczowka families. Customers just have to identify themselves as supporters of the West Webster Fire Department to the cashier and 20% of their total pre-tax amount will be donated to the families of Chiapperini and Kaczowka.
Webster Burger King manager Jennifer White said, "We have all been affected by this tragedy. Mike was a regular of ours, and many of our crew members went to school with Tomasz. We want to be able to do something to help their families in this time of need."
This is Webster Burger King's second benefit. A benefit on December 28, 29 and 30 raised near $1,100 for the West Webster Fire Department.
