The Rochester chapter of "Make Some Noise: Cure Kids Cancer" celebrated their kick-off Saturday night at the Riverside Convention Center.
Make Some Noise is a national childhood cancer research foundation that is now establishing regional chapters across the country.
The Western New York chapter was started by Kelly Kovaleski and Eleanor Olander, who both lost children to cancer.
All the money raised from Saturday night's event will go directly toward childhood cancer research.
