State police say they've arrested a Mohawk Valley man after finding large supplies of marijuana and fireworks at his home.
Authorities say a state police drug enforcement task force conducted a search last Friday of the Gloversville, Fulton County home of 53-year-old George Buyce. Police say they found about 100 pot plants in various stages of growth, along with lamps and other equipment used to grow marijuana indoors.
The raid also uncovered more than 20 pounds of processed pot and a large supply of fireworks in his home.
Investigators say they're still trying to determine the proper weight of the marijuana and level of crime to charge regarding the actual criminal possession of the pot.
It couldn't be determined if Buyce was being held in jail or if he had a lawyer.
