Police ID Rochester man shot and killed on Roycroft Drive

Rochester Police are continuing their investigation into the City's first homicide of 2013. The shooting happened on Roycroft Drive around 2:15 p.m. Monday.

Rochester Police tell News10NBC that 24-year-old Gregory Cooper of Rochester was shot multiple times in his upper and lower body. He was taken to Strong Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators are not sure what precipitated the shooting.
