Cops and firefighters battle on the ice to benefit local non-profits

Police officers and firefighters will battle on the ice to benefit three local non-profits.

Members of the Rochester Fire Department and Rochester Police Department will be participating in a hockey game on Monday, January 21 at 4 p.m. at the Blue Cross Arena. The proceeds of the Hometown Heroes game will benefit the fallen West Webster firefighters, The Emerald Society and The Rochester Police Foundation.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by e-mailing mp5025@CityofRochester.gov.

Before the main event, the Amerks will take on the Hamilton Bulldogs at 1 p.m.
