Rochester Police officer injured in two car crash

Emergency crews responded to a crash involving a Rochester Police cruiser and another car on South Goodman Street near Harvard Street.

Police say the officer was responding to a call with lights and sirens on, heading south on South Goodman Street, while the other car made a left turn onto South Goodman Street from Harvard Street. The two collided.

The officer was taken to Strong Hospital to get checked out, but his injuries do not appear to be serious. Police say the two people in the other car were treated on the scene.
